Big
Game, Small World is my sixth book on basketball. I wrote the
first two, The In-Your-Face Basketball Book and The Back-in-Your-Face
Guide to Pick-Up Basketball, with Chuck Wielgus. Both treated
the playground game.
In 1990 I teamed up with Armen Keteyian, whom you may have seen
on CBS and HBO, to write the New York Times bestseller Raw
Recruits, which examined college basketball recruiting.
My next two books100 Years of Hoops (reissued as Basketball:
A History of the Game) and A March for Honorwere
coffee-table efforts that looked at the games first century
and at Indiana high-school ball, respectively.
All of my previous books are out of print, but most will pop up
on used-book Web sites from time to time, including Alibris,
Bibliofind, and Bookfinder.
Or you may find them by using the out-of-print search services of
such on-line booksellers as Amazon
and Barnes
and Noble.
